Grenades

Tactical shield

This new tactical element was received rather coldly by most players. Also, two or three such “shield bearers” can close a passage, a door, etc. A terrorist with a shield is very rare, and special forces sometimes even mistake a terrorist with an activated shield for one of their own. It often happens that a shield-bearer (with an activated shield) protects a friend from shots (especially when reloading) from enemy fire, approaching the enemy almost, or completely point-blank, and does not allow him to shoot at his own. By the way, there is one way against those hiding behind a shield - using the “Crouch Jump” trick, you can climb onto it and stab them in the head.

Cheating, as a type of fraud, appeared quite a long time ago. Many gamers remember single-player games that could be easily hacked using one of the programs and replace a certain indicator with the required one. In these ways they increased their gold, characteristics, health level, damage, etc. Counter-Strike 1.6 also has its own cheats. A huge amount of third-party software has been created in order to bypass the standard features of the game and give advantages to the player who uses the cheat.

Without a doubt, the most common cheats are Wallhack(players can see characters through walls and thus get the opportunity to take the right actions in advance, accurately aim through smoke grenades, etc.), as well as certain developments to improve aim. Such developments include both simple aiming at the character’s head or body, depending on the settings, and automatic shooting.

As a result of the appearance of cheats, some of the players, logging onto the servers, began to show the highest results in shooting and reading game situations. In reality, they were simply helped by their developments, and the players themselves became scammers. To this day, you can often see cheaters on servers whose character model spins in all directions, instantly killing opponents. This is the clearest example of a player having additional software.

Consequences of playing with cheats

As you know, the VALVE company uses its own anti-cheat VAC, which helps to detect all widespread programs. However, developers simply do not have time to keep up with all the new developments, so VAC cannot restrict access to all cheaters. There are also individual anti-cheats that have large databases, but their capabilities are not always enough. In such situations, demo recordings and the hawk-eye of judges or administration come to the rescue.

The punishment for cheating can be completely different, but in any case it is unpleasant. It all starts with the usual restriction of access to servers, which is blocked by the VAC anti-cheat itself. In such situations, both the IP address and profile, as well as the player’s hardware, can be added to the cheater database, limiting access on other servers.

Cheaters who are discovered while playing in tournaments have to pay a particularly high price. Such players will face not only disqualification, but also a ban on participation in further tournaments, as well as a complete loss of reputation. Moreover, the presence of a ban for cheating in the CS 1.6 game may also affect other games, since the gamer’s game history can be checked through the same anti-cheat databases.

The result for cheaters is always the same and it is disappointing. Therefore, we do not recommend using any software that gives you an advantage in the game.
