How to enable server crosshair?

When you take aim and fire at the enemy's side in a split second, the server processes data about the position of your tank, the position of the sight cursor (muzzle/turret), the position of the enemy, its speed of movement and, taking into account the skills of your crew and other factors, calculates the flight path of the projectile ( drawing it on the screen) and makes a verdict about hitting a particular point or missing it.

For a comfortable game, the client is “sharpened” in such a way that you can enjoy the game process. A comfortable game in WOT looks like this: “80 fps in the top left of the screen, a flat 40-inch box with a resolution of 1920x1080 and a tank rushing across the plains smoothly and gracefully skirts the uneven terrain, illuminating enemies one after another, the battle front is visible from the first to the last line. Unevenness of the terrain and the frisky firefly, jumping up as if on a springboard, fires a shot in the air at the heavy enemy that suddenly appeared from behind a hillock, lands on the tracks, performs a maneuver and makes another shot, on the move, pierces a heavy target and moves away from the front."

In fact, the game on the server runs at an average of 17 fps, more precisely from 12 to 30 (in the Krasnodar region - the geographical location is important) depending on the number of luminous enemy and friendly vehicles in the line of sight. By enabling the "Server Aim" function, you will see the "real" game on the screen, but this may reduce FPS. The lower the ping, the higher the fps. The closer your city, town, village is to the physical location of the wot server, the lower the ping, the easier it is to play. The server sight eliminates the problem of “wrong” shots by showing the player the position of his sight as the game server “sees” it. The mod adds a bright marker and additional aiming to your sight, which should be used for aiming. You can set fourteen marker options in different colors.

Installation

  • Download the archive, extract the contents
  • Copy the gui and scripts folders from the “Server Sight” folder to res_nodsgame_version
