The main thing is that Revolver made me happy for long hours in the game, it allowed me to guess where the enemy would come from, I was very pleased with the quality of speech transmission - that is, there was no problem at all, my teammates heard me loud and clear. Last summer we ran a lot in The Division, but unfortunately, now we can’t run like that due to lack of time. But that's not the point.

The fact is that Revolver has a sequel called Revolver S. And the matter is not limited to some cosmetic changes, in fact, this is a serious step forward, and the (practically) ideal product was made even a little better. If you look at the design, only the colors have changed; instead of red, white is now used as an additional one - white stripes on the cups, white threads, light symbols on the remote control. Compared to many other gaming devices, the Revolver S looks deliberately simple and looks more like regular headphones. The materials are practical: velvety plastic, a thick iron headband, and pay attention to how the adjustment occurs - there is a second headband inside, and it moves, which allows the Revolver S to fit correctly on your head. The huge cups are comfortable and move on hinges, which is also necessary for proper adjustment. The Revolver S will fit even on the biggest head, I'm sure of it. The flexible microphone leg remembers its given shape, the thick fabric-braided cable ends with a 3.5 mm plug - you can connect it to the joystick of a console, a smartphone, but I would advise using the included remote control and USB connection with the PS4 Pro. This way you can avoid lags in audio transmission and enjoy the capabilities of Revolver S.

Compared to the Revolver, not only the color has changed, they also made the frame wider, although I didn’t notice any major changes in ergonomics, everything is just as comfortable. I also like that even despite active use - for example, I was sick here for five days and crawled out in the evenings to play for a couple of hours, ended up staying up all night, well, I’m sick, I have the right - so, even with active use Revolver S looks like new. You can use Revolver S with any source, be it a computer or a console; in the case of the PS4 Pro, the cable was long enough to sit comfortably on the couch and not feel disappointed. The remote control, as stated in official documents, is equipped with a digital signal processing sound card - better sound, better speech quality, better everything. In addition, there are jog wheels for selecting the volume level, not only the sound in general, but also the sound volume in the chat. Very cool! You can turn off the microphone with a separate button, and another button is needed to enable Dolby Surround 7.1 - and no additional software is required. Thanks to the built-in map for this too. There is also a button for selecting one of the equalizer presets, these are bass boost, neutral mode, improved voice intelligibility mode, I advise you to try each mode in a particular game, if you wish, you can turn off the equalizer completely. By the way, thanks to a regular 3.5 mm plug, Revolver S can also be used with VR helmets, for example, with PS VR, and this will be good thanks to the excellent sound quality.

When connected to the PS4 Pro, the headset is instantly recognized as a USB headset, and the remote control helps you quickly select the volume level and use other features of the console. When worn for a long time, there is not the slightest fatigue thanks to the good weight distribution, that is, nothing rubs or presses anywhere.
