We replace the display on the iPhone ourselves

Unscrew them with a special pentagonal screwdriver - designed for ø 3.6 mm.
After unscrewing the screws, you need to begin to slowly remove the display cover. To avoid damaging the seal between the glass and the body by prying it with hard objects, it is better to use a regular suction cup with a gripping ring. Place it just above the Home button and pull it lightly.
Just slightly, since the cover, in addition to the screws, is also held in place by a number of latches located around the perimeter. Pull them carefully, starting from the area near the fasteners you just removed and moving further as the case opens.
If you don’t have a suction cup (but we still strongly recommend purchasing one), then you can try using wide tape. It will be much easier to wipe off traces of the adhesive coating of the tape than to restore damaged seals after barbaric rough disassembly. Moreover, after such a procedure you can forget about the vaunted tightness of the case.
Opening the top panel vertically, you will see wire connecting cables located in the camera area. They are the ones that interfere with final removal, so you will have to disconnect them from the system part of the device. However, access to their connectors is blocked by a protective metal strip.
You can get to the connection points between the cables and the board by removing five fastening screws from the protective panel. Don't be alarmed - they have different diameters - that's how it was intended (don't forget this later when assembling).
After unscrewing them, we remove the safety cover.
And now the “sandwich” of trains opens up in front of us in all its glory. We begin, one by one, to disconnect them from the motherboard.
First, the camera cables are removed, then the speakers and the “Home” buttons, and last are the cables for connecting the display.
Try to do everything very carefully so as not to loosen the connectors and reduce the sensitivity of the plugs. In the future, this is fraught with all sorts of interruptions in operation or even serious breakdown.
Done - now the display can be easily disconnected.
Next, you need to remove the earpiece and front camera attached to it from the dismantled non-working top panel, as well as the “Home” button. Since they are not included with the new display part.
We do everything according to the same principle - first remove the metal mounting panels - unscrew the screws, and then disconnect the cables.

And finally, by unscrewing the fastening screws on the arms around the perimeter, we remove the metal plate that protects the display from the inside.
That's it, we successfully completed half of the work. Then, after printing the original new display, reassemble the entire structure in reverse order.
