World of tank which LT is the best. The best light tanks in World of Tanks

This time we will compile the TOP of the best light tanks, the most fun and offensive in World of Tanks.

Fifth place

In fifth place is the light American tank T-71. Despite the fact that many light tanks have been released recently, this tank is still one of the best. An excellent maximum speed of 64 km/h, good dynamics and maneuverability allow this tank not only to actively shine, but also to occupy non-standard positions. The tank has good visibility and a compact size, so it is easier for it to carry out reconnaissance operations than other tanks that are larger in size.

The gun has a drum for 6 shells, drum reload time is around 19 seconds, accuracy is average, aiming is fast, penetration is good. With this gun, the tank is able to deal good damage and carry out battles. If you like not only to shoot damage from the bushes, but also to move a lot, shine and have fun, then the T-71 should be perfect for you.

Fourth place

In fourth place is the M-41 “Walker Bulldog”, an excellent damage dealer, one of the best in this business. Shooting a lot of damage on the Bulldog is very easy and simple. Two great guns to choose from - with and without a drum. They have fast aiming and good stabilization, good penetration and normal accuracy. It is worth noting the excellent UVN. If the Bulldog finds a convenient position somewhere on the hills, then it will be even easier to dismantle the enemy piece by piece. The tank is very fast and maneuverable - maximum speed is 72 km/h. Good acceleration dynamics.

Due to its speed, the “Bulldog” often occupies positions that are inconvenient for the enemy, for example, a mountain on a cliff. And from there the M-41 haunts the enemy until the end of the battle, sometimes dismantling half the enemy team. Although the tank has excellent visibility - 400 meters, active light is still not its specialty, because the size is not small.

If your main goal is to cause damage in battle, then you should definitely like the M-41 Bulldog.

Third place

Ru-251 deservedly takes third place. The German tank was distinguished by good gun penetration, good accuracy, fast aiming and excellent DPM - one of the most comfortable guns among light vehicles. In addition, the tank has a crazy maximum speed of 80 km/h with excellent engine power of 24 hp per ton. That is, the tank is extremely mobile and cheerful, it can perform any combat mission, has excellent light, spins slow tanks well, and is an excellent sniper. All in all, a jack of all trades.

Ru-251 has a good UVN, so it is convenient to play on any map. There is also 400 meters of visibility and good camouflage, so ambush tactics also suit this tank well.

The disadvantages include the fact that upgrading to Ru-251 is quite difficult, and not everyone can handle it. But at the end, one of the best light tanks in World of Tanks will be waiting for you, which will bring a lot of fun, a lot of thrills, bending and good mood. The tank is best suited for experienced fighters.

Second place

In second place is the T-49. What could be more enjoyable than sneaking up behind some tank and dealing 900 damage with a high-explosive shell? It's priceless! The T-49 is famous for its weapon, capable of inflicting enormous damage on the enemy’s vulnerable spots, and now the game is full of tanks that have no armor - they can be easily penetrated head-on. Of course, not everything is so simple - the accuracy of the T-49 gun is terrible, and the aiming time is extremely long. But thanks to its excellent maximum speed of 72 km/h, and good dynamics and maneuverability, the T-49 can always come up with something.

For example, take a good position and fire from there, or wait until the enemy is distracted by your allies - and at that moment jump out and kick the enemy. In any case, every shot you take will cause damage.

The T-49 is probably one of the best tanks to have fun with!

Not all players World of Tanks From beginners, green novices to experienced “tankers” who have more than a thousand battles behind them, they know that light tanks on the battlefield are a dangerous adversary. It would seem, what's so scary about them? There is virtually no armor; the guns of most vehicles of this class are more reminiscent in their parameters large-caliber machine gun . But, as combat operations show, these “babies” are capable of causing a lot of trouble in battle.

Get into the field of view of an enemy scout

A fast, maneuverable enemy can take a commanding height, hide behind bushes or trees, and “passively shine”, giving your team your coordinates and the location of your allies. This is one of his important fighting qualities. In this case, the “sixth sense” skill of the “World of Tanks” game will greatly help “fighters” on “heavy” and medium tanks. Even with a three-second delay, it will become clear that the direction of the attack has been revealed, and an urgent need to change tactics. If the “bulb” is not pumped up, then at the beginning of the battle you must definitely agree with your tanks or “pets” about cooperation. Their viewing radius will help identify the enemy spy and send him to the hangar.

LT against "heavy". Who will win ?

Despite the “cardboard” armor and small caliber gun, the World of Tanks “firefly” can be a serious threat. Primarily for massive and clumsy heavy tanks. Due to its speed and maneuverability, it can easily get close to a TT and inflict damage on less protected units. Primarily on the engine compartment and tracks. It can penetrate the side and damage the ammunition rack. Constantly moving, it will not provide the opportunity to return fire, or it will position itself in such a way that the heavy air defense system will not allow shooting at the annoying light vehicle. Experienced enemies alone are capable of destroying a heavy tank one on one. There is only one way out in such a situation - the help of allies. Any of them located nearby is capable of “crit” several nodes to the enemy or completely destroy him. Therefore, during the battle you need to constantly to interact with the rest of the allied equipment. Of course, it’s good when there is plenty of game gold. Then problems are solved faster.

Enemy light tank in the rear of the team

No less dangerous is the enemy “firefly”, which has broken through the front line and reached the rear of the team. Not only will he begin to transmit location players, but will also be able to reach the poorly protected and clumsy “art”. After the latest updates, when the technical characteristics of self-propelled artillery have noticeably deteriorated, its role during battle has greatly decreased. But it’s also impossible to completely ignore self-propelled guns in the World of Tanks game. Even heavily “nerfed”, it is capable of causing significant damage to the enemy. And when the enemy spy begins to destroy one artillery installation after another, the team’s combat potential is noticeably reduced and so are the chances of victory.

We continue our parade of the best tanks in their damage and class, and in the last, fifth part,

We continue our parade of the best tanks in their damage and in their class, and in the last, fifth part, we will look at light tanks. Let's start the review, of course, with level 1, and end with level 8, respectively.

Who would doubt about the first level? Once upon a time, before the change in the design bureau format, it was irreplaceable, because almost the outcome of the battle depended on it. These were the eyes of the team, and in some cases, an excellent invader, and his crushing machine gun could deliver good module damage and even death to the Nineties, Sotkas and Borschts. Yes, yes and yes again, this is a T1 Cunningham, no MS-1s, no British mediums or French Renaults. Only T1, only hardcore. A machine gun in skillful hands is capable of destroying even some 2nd levels. The dynamics, although not the best, are enough for the first level. We will calmly put the armor on a high shelf to gather dust and not even say a word about it, since talking about armor at level 1 will be ridiculous. We won’t bombard you with lengthy praise of this beauty and just sum it up, let’s say that the tank is universal, playable, and in the right hands it’s even crushing and flexible.

Pros:
- Magnificent 20mm machine gun
- Acceptable dynamics
- Rear position of the tower, which allows us to go around corners and cause damage
- High rate of fire inside the drum

Minuses:
- Long drum reload (about 10 sec)
- Front engine

They talk about this tank... But they don’t say anything. It takes 2-3 battles and is forgotten like an uninteresting dream. But in vain, since the tank is very interesting and can be a pleasure to play on it. The groove is quite versatile, having acceptable dynamics for level 2 and a very good weapon. 37 mm with a penetration of 42 mm, reload time about 2.5 seconds. and mixing in 1.7 seconds, very good performance. The armor resists only some weak machine guns, and occasionally guns with a penetration of 25 mm or more. Our 11 tons are accelerated by a 220-horsepower engine, so we dare not complain about the maximum speed. Finally, let’s say that the tank is very interesting and we advise everyone to play it while going through a branch, or just at their leisure.

Pros:
- Good maneuverability and dynamics
- Frontal armor for level 2 can withstand blows
- Decent visibility (290 m)
- Quick aiming of the gun (1.7 sec)

Minuses:
- Long turn of the tower
- The sides and stern are pretty cardboard

Imba level 3, because there is no other way to say it. An 8mm machine gun can incinerate tanks 1 level higher than us. The armor for level 3 is rather weak, but looking at the maximum speed, we can safely say that armor is not the main thing for it, because the maximum speed is 79 km/h. Not every enemy will be able to hit us, but if they do, then there is a 20-30 percent chance that there will be a ricochet or no penetration. But this is all a matter of chance and only you can decide how the battle will end, but in the end we will say that the tank will bring a lot of pleasure and fun during its passage.

Pros:
- Excellent top speed (79 km/h)
- Crushing machine gun
- Small and compact dimensions
- Good review

Minuses:
- Average armor
- Low armor penetration

Surely you thought that the Chinese would bypass us, but that was not the case. Fast, rapid-fire, with excellent visibility and just a great tank. M5A1 only causes trouble when leveling it up to the top state, and then we simply and without sudden movements move to the next tank. The gun has indicators acceptable for level 4: 81 mm of penetration, which is quite good at our level, damage of 70 units with a reload of 2.5 seconds. Stabilization, of course, is rather poor, but in close combat the tank copes with the enemy very quickly. Our armor, as always, is in the style of a light tank, that is, none. Sometimes we can still get a ricochet due to our 45 degrees of armor tilt, but this happens quite rarely. And so we get a very playable and playful tank, which puts it in first place among tier 4 tanks.

Pros:
- Good dynamics
- Good UGN
- Compact size
- Acceptable visibility of 330 m

Minuses:
- Frequent engine crits
- Weak armor on the sides and stern

Little Chaffee deserves the honorary title of the best level 5 LT. It is good, of course, because of its visibility of 390 m and good maneuverability. The gun also does not let us down, because the CD is 2.5 seconds and the damage is 110 with a penetration of 96 mm, it’s like a bee’s sting that bites weakly but often. The cross-country ability and dynamics are generally impressive, as we feel free on different soils. Based on the excellent dynamics and visibility, we get an excellent tank for spotting and in some situations for supporting allies. Passing a tank will not cause you problems and waste of nerve cells.

Pros:
- Excellent dynamics
- Best view on the level
- Excellent stabilization
- Best top speed (77 km/h)

Minuses:
- Lack of armor as such in all projections
- Weak armor penetration

A newcomer, but already gained quite a reputation. The tank does an excellent job of its job, namely, the job of a firefly. And he can shoot too, thanks to a gun with 150 penetration and 115 damage. Reload time is around 3 seconds, and stabilization is at an acceptable level. The maximum speed of the tank is 66 km/h, which is very good for a light tank. The visibility also did not disappoint - 385 m, so it will not be difficult for us to highlight the enemy while being in the bushes, rushing all over the battlefield.

Pros:
- Remarkable speed and maneuverability
- Rapid-fire cannon
- Good review

Minuses:
- Poor armor performance
- Very mediocre body dimensions

A tank that is incredibly popular, a tank that torments its enemies with its drum, a tank that brings a lot of fun and fun. Yes, this is our crazy stool - T71. An excellent drum for 6 shells of 150 units of damage and a penetration of 175. An unsurpassed maximum speed of 64 km/h with a mass of 18 tons. Of course, we will not say anything about the armor, since 25 mm in the forehead, although at an angle, will not give us anything, because we don’t have to fight with levels 8, 9 and 10. The tank is very interesting and will bring you pleasure while passing it.

Pros:
- The presence of a drum for 6 shells
- High maximum speed and agility
- Small sizes
- Great overview

Minuses:
- Poor gun stabilization
- Lowest safety margin at the level

This choice will cause quite a lot of controversy, because at level 8 almost every tank can take first place, but still neither the ninety, nor the T49, nor anything else, namely the unsurpassed RUshka with its magnificent maximum speed of 80 km/ h, an acceptable and universal weapon, a low silhouette and remarkable UGN. And now some numbers: penetration 190 mm, damage 240 units, reduction 2.1 seconds, spread 0.36, and CD about 6 seconds. Quite average indicators, but they are quite enough. Our dynamic indicators are as follows: 80 km/h maximum speed, agility 38 degrees/sec, and acceleration ability at the highest level. Reservations in the light tank genre: 25 mm at the front of the hull and 20 mm around the turret, that is, everyone who hits us penetrates us. But our job, of course, is not tanking, but highlighting opponents and helping our allies. The tank is quite pleasant to play through, but it still requires the ability to play LT, otherwise you will simply fade away on it, never revealing the potential of this tank in battle.

Pros:
- Universal weapon
- Excellent top speed
- View at 400 m
- Low profile

Minuses:
- Quite picky chassis
- Long projectile flight (unlike single-level LT)

As a result of this article, I would like to say that you should not forget about the main purpose of a light tank, and do not fly to the center of the map at the beginning of the battle for an instant drain. Tactics on LT are much more difficult than on other classes, because you not only shine, but also help your allies by keeping the enemy on the rink or distracting him. A light tank should always bring the team information about the location of the enemy, otherwise the team will simply stand at the base or, having gone in one direction, will lose by capturing its base. Be careful when playing on LT and good luck in your battles!

Do you want to feel yourself behind the levers of a combat vehicle and feel its power? Giving full throttle, rush across rough terrain, flying up hills and raising a cloud of spray, crossing small rivers. Then online World of tanks game simply created for you. Heavy tanks are discarded due to their clumsiness; self-propelled guns and tank destroyers are used for other purposes. Most suitable - light tanks.

So how do you still play on light tanks?

Intelligence is our calling in WoT

The main task light tanks(In the game they are called LT) – reconnaissance. Start. The last seconds are counting down. "The fight begins." During these moments, the player must decide where to go in order to indicate to his allies possible options for the direction of the enemy’s movement.
Lasville map game "World of Tanks", “gut” (a narrow corridor separated from the main space by a mountain range). “Yes, a group of enemy vehicles will move here.” Breaking out of the general order, "firefly" rushes to the isthmus to take his position. Part of the allied team slowly moves after him. Managed. The enemy has not yet appeared. Hiding behind a stone hill, the player periodically goes out into the open for reconnaissance.

"That's it, fire contact."

Enemy armored vehicles appeared. One of the enemies thoughtlessly crawled onto the hillock, falling into the field of view of the firefly. He immediately transmits the coordinates to his allies. A red dot appears on the team's mini-map. A carefree silhouette of the enemy appears in the sights of allied vehicles. Shots, explosions. The thickly smoking carcass puts an end to this fight. One less. But others are not asleep. The reconnaissance tank itself was caught in the light. A strong beat. The roar of an exploding landmine, a sharp voice in the headphones: “The track is damaged, movement is impossible.” Excruciating seconds of waiting while repairs are underway. At this moment, several units of enemy armored vehicles immediately begin to storm the hill. The line of defense cannot stand it and breaks down. It's time to retreat. Trying not to come under fire, LT rushes to his base. There's nothing wrong with that. There is no point in competing with the enemy's guns. Light tanks almost always end up in battle with vehicles much higher in class than themselves. There can be several endings to this battle: the firefly did not have time to leave the dangerous area and was destroyed; went to the other flank and began to help the allies there; died in an unequal battle with medium tanks that broke through to the base.

What else can the little LT hero do in World of tanks?

It turns out that there is a lot. There are at least three more options for conducting combat operations.

General exposure

In this case, you will only work to gain experience for yourself, dear one. The allies will receive practically nothing from your dash, unless the “art” has time to converge and fire a shot or two at the enemy.
At the very beginning, a sharp rush is made towards the enemy’s base or to the place of his intended deployment (in the event of a counter battle or assault). The shortest route is selected. And the maximum speed is squeezed out. Objective: get into contact with the enemy as quickly as possible and detect as many of his armored vehicles as possible. It is a pity that many enemies are waiting for this and keep their guns ready. It is extremely difficult to maneuver when several guns are aimed at you at once. The death of the “firefly” in this case occurs very quickly. But in the end. Did the Allies win? A large amount of experience, game currency and a Scout medal for discovering at least 9 enemy units. Team loss? A little experience and silver from the World of Tanks game. But overall, it’s also not bad.

"Beware, arta"

At the beginning of the battle, the list of the enemy team is carefully reviewed. Finally, self-propelled artillery mounts appeared. A little tank destroyer. And almost only tanks. This means that there is plenty of space and you can go hunting. The target is artillery. Why are “petashki” a formidable enemy? They have better range and accurate weapons. They “spot” the scout before others and destroy him. In this case, there is a chance to break through the defense line and go to the rear, marching to all the places where self-propelled guns like to occupy positions. If such a target is discovered, the main thing is to very quickly enter the flank of the enemy’s gun. If the “art” noticed you in time and switched to direct fire mode, then... You will see the walls of your native hangar almost instantly. If you managed to approach it at an angle, then first of all “put it on the harp” (destroy the chassis) so that the enemy cannot turn towards you. And then... The feast begins. Shot at the front (rear) roller, at the body, again at the roller. Don't forget to constantly move. Stopping in place is death for the firefly. The art is “disassembled”. We move in search of the next target, if they are still there. In such a battle, “friendly fire” often occurs. Allied artillery converges on the “highlighted” target and fires a salvo that goes to you. You shouldn’t judge strictly, everyone wants to earn silver and experience points, but what about the fact that they missed and hit you? It's nothing you can do.

“Forward, eagles, and I’ll follow you,” or we’ll do as much mischief as we can.

Studying the list of participants in the battle shows that there are no self-propelled guns, but everyone else is almost equally divided. You can try to help your allies by highlighting the enemy's direction of movement, but there is another possibility.
For the first two minutes of the battle, you can just stand and see who is going where. Then choose the direction of movement of the majority and follow them without overtaking them. It is very important. Tank groups came into combat contact. This is where the work begins for the firefly. The opponents grappled with each other, focusing only on each other. And at this time, a nimble and fast LT sneaks between the steel bulks and does its “dirty” business. It knocks down tracks, disables engines, and damages fuel tanks. The rear armor of most armored vehicles is practically non-existent. You can't think of anything better for a small caliber. Shot, change of position, shot again. You don't even need to use the sniper aiming mode. The main thing is to constantly move. Sooner or later, one of the enemies will pay attention to your actions and decide to destroy the annoying “fly”. We hope you understand how to play LT using our guide. See you on the battlefields!

We have already covered the necessary equipment, skills for the crew and the basic principles of playing the LT. All that remains is to choose the best light tank for these purposes.

Characteristics for choosing LT

Let's look at the main characteristics of ranking light tanks of level 8 World of Tanks for LBZ 15.
These include:

  • Masking coefficient– a very important parameter for LT, affecting the overall visibility in the game. This coefficient for the class of light tanks is the same when moving and stationary. The higher it is, the less noticeable the technique is in the game. When shooting, the coefficient clearly decreases, which is strictly not recommended for use in a passive light position.
  • Power density– a parameter influencing the overall dynamics. The faster a tank takes a key position for active or passive coverage, the more benefit it will bring to the team.
  • View range– a parameter that affects the detection range of the enemy, taking into account its camouflage coefficient. Above 445 meters, we will not be able to detect the enemy, but we will be able to detect camouflaged targets at the maximum accessible distance for us.
  • Damage per minute (DPM)– parameter shows the value of damage caused per unit of time. The greater the damage, the faster we send the enemy to the hangar.
  • Tank HP (HP)– parameter shows the amount of safety margin of the tank.

A table with the main characteristics is presented:

Having compared the characteristics, two clear leaders who are most suitable for passing LBZ LT 15 are highlighted with a green marker. It remains to determine which of them is the best!

German light tank tier 8 RU 251 superior to French in almost all respects AMX 13 90. But if you take a closer look at them, you can see a significant difference.

- approximately the same. But don’t forget about the size of the tanks themselves. After all, the detection of tanks occurs by the overall points of the tank (yellow dots in the image), located in the middle of each side of the tank. Thus, smaller sizes are easier to camouflage in vegetation and have less chance of detection.

power density The RU 251 is slightly superior to the AMX 13 90. All tankers are well aware that excellent tank dynamics play an important role, it contributes to the speed of movement from flank to flank and the speed of evading artillery shells.

viewing range tank is the same.
strength The RU 251 is superior to the AMX 13 90 by 100 units, which can sometimes change the outcome of the battle.
damage per minute Among its peers, the AMX 13 90 is the smallest, but do not forget that the tank has a drum loading system with 6 shells causing 240 units of damage. This allows you to deal more than 1400 units of damage in 15 seconds; a full reload with a 100% crew is 42 seconds.

Results

To summarize, we can conclude that French tank tier 8 AMX 13 90 is the best light tank for completing the LBZ LT 15 . Main features: stealth due to its camouflage and size; a charged drum poses a danger to the enemy.

Naturally, LBZ can also be carried out on other tanks, but the successful completion of the task does not depend on the chosen tank, but on many factors. Such as: direct hands, correct analysis of the situation in battle, adequate allies and of course GBR (Great Belarusian Random).

Whoever decides what map to play on, what kind of enemy you will face, who will be on the allied team and what damage you will do!
