The receiver can be used either horizontally or placed vertically, which gives the tuner a unique look. As it turned out in the future, this only simplifies working with the access card.

Receiver ORTON X80 has instructions in Russian. For Asian TV models - RCA (tulips), and for Europeans - ( SCART). And for those who plan to use this receiver as part of a home theater, there is a digital audio output (S/PDF). This receiver model is characterized by low power consumption, one watt in standby mode, and can even turn itself off, 3 hours after the last use.

The receiver's user interface has changed significantly for the better. The menu has become simpler and more attractive. It’s especially nice that the manufacturer took care to make it clear how to insert the access card? The inscription (Chip down) is printed on the receiver body. Naturally, this model can also be used to view regular FTA channels (open channels). And the RS 232 programming port and universal card reader make the receiver more versatile.

Antenna setup, orton x80 instructions. Allows you to select parameters for satellite, converter, DiSeqC and other equipment. I would like to draw your attention to a new type of satellite signal analyzer. Pseudo liquid indicators began to look more presentable. The ORTON X80's response to changing the antenna position is quite fast, which will make setting up a satellite dish much easier and faster.

Lists of television channels can be sorted and renamed.

TV guide. EPG on the Globo X80 receiver. Standard, very convenient. You can view several days in advance. An additional service includes a timer (activated by the blue button) that allows you to turn on the receiver at the right time on the selected channel.

Additional information about the satellite channel is activated by the (info) button on the remote control and consists of several screens. You can view the title of the program and the announcement. On the next screen (info) you can control the signal level and quality.

Internal structure of the Orton X80 receiver

Almost all modern models of Globo and ORTON receivers are assembled on ALI processors. Our orton X80 was no exception. It uses such a well-known processor as ALI 3329C. And to save space, the receiver and power supply were assembled on one board. The tuner here is also of a new modification, by the way, the sensitivity in this model is at a fairly good level, which allows you to use this model with remote antennas, despite its cheapness.

Also, one interesting design feature of the new receiver is the use in it of a new model of one of the most modern tuners WGCE5039. A distinctive feature of this tuner is its miniature size and, of course, good sensitivity.

Tiger X90HD- a follower of the popular Tiger X80HD receiver model, which was one of the first to show a low price for a “normal” HD format receiver. Tiger X90 HD, unlike the X80 HD, has a more solid metal body, received PowerVu support, but lost Dolby Digital. The new product supports all popular encodings when changing to custom software using a USB external drive. Tiger X 90 HD runs on a high-performance GUOXIN GX6605S processor, has a built-in power supply and plays all popular media formats from a USB drive.
