During the reset process, the set-top box will automatically reboot. - in the “Automatic search” section in the “antenna” line, select “Tricolor TV”.
Important! If the set-top box is connected to the antenna according to a standard scheme, you do not need to correct the default values in the last section.
Separately, the rules for setting up the region should be noted. The subscriber is offered three options:
- basic;
- MSK +0;
- MSK +2.
You should not select the first item, otherwise the receiver will save only one info-TV channel, and the others will be unavailable. If you select the “+0” option, the broadcast will be conducted according to Moscow time. If you select “+2”, the programs will be available with a two-hour shift from Moscow. You should set one of these two types of time zones based on your own convenience.
At this point the settings are considered complete. After saving them, the set-top box will begin automatically searching for available channels. Based on its results, a list of what was found will be displayed on the screen, which the subscriber will only have to save. To do this, you will need to click the “Yes” button in the dialog box that appears.
Setting up television receivers with a built-in receiver
For this type of equipment, manual tuning of Tricolor TV channels will be required. You can do it yourself by switching the TV to the antenna equipment setup mode. The path to this section may be different, depending on the specific TV model, so you should rely on the instructions included with the equipment.
Settings options
Having entered the desired section, select the “Manual setup” item in the menu, where you set the following equipment parameters:
- On – in the “Network Search” column;
- 12226 – in the line “Transponder frequency”;
- 27500 – in the “Symbol Rate” section;
- the name of the standard Tricolor TV satellite is in the “Satellite” section.

Software update for Tricolor TV receivers
The receiver software is constantly being improved by the manufacturer, defects are eliminated, and errors are corrected. The software update is carried out from the satellite when the receiver is turned on. An update panel will appear on the TV screen, in which an update will be offered; using the remote control, you must select the update operation and press the “OK” button. The update procedure itself takes several minutes; you cannot interrupt the update, otherwise the receiver will have to be taken to the service department.
If the time for updating from the satellite is missed, the receiver must be updated forcibly from an external USB drive.
The firmware for the receiver must be downloaded from the website of GS - the manufacturer of Tricolor TV receivers, removed from the archive, then transferred to a flash drive formatted in FAT 32. When connecting the flash drive to the receiver, the latter will request an update; the operation must be performed in the same way as updating from a satellite.
Receivers that do not update the software in a timely manner may stop opening all or some encrypted channels.

"Manual method"
For devices equipped with the “Manual Setup” function, the process begins by opening this item in the Menu. After which all search parameters are indicated. To access shifted channels, type “11996” in the frequency column. All regular TV channels and +2 (+3) hour channels are broadcast on this frequency.
The “Manual search” option is available on devices that support HD quality format.
Settings for receivers without the Ural region
The method is used on devices that have the “Moscow +0/+2” region in the receiver Menu. The “Moscow +2” region corresponds to the broadcast time with an offset. The instructions involve three stages of setup. The first stage involves resetting installation functions to factory settings:
- Enter the “Menu” of the receiver;
- Select the “Settings” section;
- Find the “Reset to factory settings” block and open it by clicking on the “Ok” button;
- Consistently confirm the reset operation;
- After the reset, proceed to entering the settings;
- When prompted to set “Region,” close the menu;
- Reboot the device.
The second stage involves manually searching for TV channels:

- In the list of channels, carefully review and remove duplicate TV channels (no need to remove working versions of duplicate channels);
