Forced setting of sight magnification for World of Tanks. Forced setting of sight magnification for World of Tanks Forced sight magnification 0.9 17

Description:

Many tankers were looking for a mod that would return the standard magnification of the sniper scope after leaving it. This became necessary after the 30x sniper zoom scope mod appeared. After all, very often, in the heat of battle, we do not have enough time to reduce the zoom from x30 to x8 or x2 for close combat, and if we also have about 10 zoom positions, this will prevent us from successfully making a shot. So, in order to somehow save tankers from this problem, a mod was invented - forced installation of sight magnification for World of Tanks 0.9.14.

After installing the mod, you can independently set the magnification of the sniper scope, to which it will return every time after exiting it. By default, the forced scope magnification is 2.0, if you need to change it, read the instructions below.

This modification for World of Tanks offers to increase the zoom ratio in the sniper scope to x30, which will make the game easier and more comfortable. With standard magnification it can sometimes be difficult to shoot at tanks that are far away from you, but this mod will fix everything.

With the increased zoom of the sight, you can easily target the weak points of vehicles at long distances, rather than shooting at random. It is worth saying that the presented modification is available in a large number of different modpacks. It appeared several years ago and has long established itself.

30x scope download

There are several different mod options in the archive: from fast to smooth. Choose the most suitable one and go into battle. Like some others, this one can be customized to your liking. To do this, you will need to edit the ZoomX file, which is located in the gui folder.

In order to install a 30x scope, you will need to download the archive, select the required option and extract the gui and scripts folders to the following address: /World_of_Tanks/res_mods/[update folder]/, agreeing to the replacement. Before installation, you can watch a video that demonstrates this mod in action.

We were able to greatly improve our marksmanship performance. But, in the process of using this modification, a drawback emerged. The bottom line is that in dynamic battles, the process of reducing the magnification from maximum to minimum takes more time than the gamer would like.

And in a situation in which, after shooting at a distant target at the highest magnification, you need to change your deployment, that is, switch to arcade mode, and then fire again at the enemy, but who is already at a short distance from you, maintaining the zoom magnification in sniper mode can be very greatly complicate the situation. After all, it can be difficult to instantly catch an opponent at gunpoint with such an increase, and lowering the magnification from the highest value to the minimum occurs in several steps, that is, it also takes away precious seconds from you. As a result, the opponent gets a head start, which may be sufficient to defeat you.

To get out of this situation, you need to install this modification. Now you can personally decide what value the multiplicity should return to when exiting sniper mode. By default it is 2.0. To set up the mod, you should read the instructions below.
