Check your efficiency in wot. What is efficiency in World of Tanks? How to find out a player's efficiency in World of Tanks? Main types of ratings

Efficiency - efficiency factor. In World of Tanks, it denotes a player's performance indicator. That is, the better a person plays, the more experience he gets from each battle and the greater his efficiency.

Players with a high efficiency rate are highly valued in the game; many fear them like fire, because in the right hands a tank can destroy half a team of enemies. What if you, too, are a formidable force for your opponents, but have no idea how to find out your efficiency?

How is efficiency calculated?

First, let's look at how the performance rating is calculated. We are not talking about the performance rating in the “Achievements” tab in the game client and on the official website. This is also efficiency, but its calculation formula is different. It is less often taken into account.

  1. Number of enemies destroyed (frags);
  2. Damage dealt to enemies;
  3. Detected enemies;
  4. Allied damage to enemies you detect;
  5. Points for capturing an enemy base;
  6. Points for shooting down the capture of an allied base;
  7. State of the art.

The level of equipment has a strong influence, because in one battle on a Tier X tank you can deal as much damage as a Tier I tank would do in 50 battles. And since damage and frags are the most important factors in calculating the performance rating, improving statistics and especially the level of play is easier on high-level tanks (although there are more inexperienced players in the sandbox).

How to check efficiency using websites

There are many sites where you can find out the efficiency in World of Tanks. For example:

  • Wot-news.com. The most famous website for calculating performance ratings. It has been working for quite a long time, so it has gained popularity and trust from players. To find out the efficiency, you need to enter your nickname and click “Load data”.
  • Wot-game.com. The site is also popular and also has its own system for calculating performance ratings. On it you also need to enter your nickname and click on the “Define” button. The performance rating will be at the bottom of the table under the win percentage.
  • Wot-noobs.ru. The site is known for its "NuboRating", a signature (signature image on forums) that is updated for each player. On it you can see the main characteristics of the calculation, including the efficiency, which were mentioned above.

How to find out the efficiency in tanks, which is considered standard among players? This is ER - performance rating (again, do not confuse it with the one in “Achievements”). It is shown on other sites and in the XVM mod (although there you can choose which rating to display).

Mod XVM

At the time of writing this article, the XVM mod was used by more than 1.8 million users. This mod is primarily known for displaying the overall efficiency of tanks and statistics for each piece of equipment. In addition, it displays statistics for other players and makes the game much easier thanks to its excellent mini-map modification.

How to check efficiency using the XVM mod? First you need to download and install it, and then log in to the site and activate statistics. Instructions and other information on the mod are located on the official website or in mod assemblies.

It is noteworthy that each player can customize the mod at their own discretion. For this purpose, an online program was developed on the same website.

How to determine efficiency in World of Tanks by color

To find out your efficiency in World of Tanks by color, you need to look at this image:

In this table, efficiency indicators from lowest to highest are displayed from top to bottom, that is, the lowest indicator is at the top, the highest is at the bottom. Here is a brief definition of players by their efficiency colors:

  • red - bad player;
  • orange - below average player;
  • yellow - average player;
  • green - good player;
  • blue is a great player;
  • purple is an incredible player.

How to find out the efficiency in WoT on the above sites? Look at the color of the performance rating indicator. In a client with the XVM mod installed, the percentage of wins and efficiency are also colored in different colors.

What is the efficiency or statistics of a wot player?

Statistics in World of Tanks (efficiency, stats) – they call the player’s efficiency indicator; it takes into account your overall achievements in battles using all your vehicles.

What are the statistics made up of?

When forming efficiency, a large number of factors are taken into account:

Win percentage- this factor is the most important, it shows how skillfully you play and, most importantly, how you win.
Damage per battle- depending on the type of tank, the importance of this criterion varies. Damage per battle is the actual indicator of damage inflicted on the enemy.
Survival.
Accuracy (percentage of hits).
Kill/kill ratio.
Glare.
Base capture points and base defense points.
Average level of battles.

The World of Tanks statistics formula is constantly changing, new criteria for calculating efficiency are being added, providing a more complete picture of your skills and abilities.

The optimal technique for raising statistics:

TT- AMX 50B, T57 Heavy, T110E5, E100, Maus, IS7, S.Conqueror, WZ-111 5A, 113.

Why do we need statistics?

World of Tanks statistics are simple necessary for strategic decisions.

By checking the statistics of WoT players, you can estimate the approximate strength of the team and take this data into account during the battle.
The decision to accept a new player into a clan or not is always based on statistical data.
“A penny saves a ruble” - the statistics of each player individually forms clan statistics and the rating as a whole.

How to increase statistics?

Raising World of Tanks statistics it starts to worry when your percentage of efficiency is not at all high and your teammates tease you as “red”; or when you finally decide to take part in battles in companies or join a clan, but they don’t take you because they are not satisfied with your efficiency.

The World of Tanks account boosting service will help solve this problem as soon as possible:

Start

It all started when my friend and I started playing WOT (2013), literally a month later, we began to take an interest in our game statistics and look for resources that would help us with this.

First we used one, then another, a third, but something always didn’t suit us. And at some point, we realized that none of these resources could give us what we needed. And then it was decided to make our own.

They didn’t even come up with a name; they found the kttc.ru domain that they had bought in advance and decided to let it be.

What did we want from the project?

We needed information about how we played during our last gaming session. With display of changed indicators, their growth or decline.

We decided that we would show all game ratings existing at that time and supplement them as new ones were released.

We didn’t need anything else, we were doing a project for ourselves.

Design

We didn’t fuss with the design either, we made everything as simple as possible so as not to be distracted by unnecessary details.

Well, the only thing is, for self-satisfaction, the logo was quickly cut out from some video on tanks and placed. It was necessary, somehow conveniently, to go to the main page.

On the main page there was only one phrase: “As soon as possible.”

Server

The first server, I can’t even remember, was the cheapest one we could find. Because the predicted attendance was: 1-2 visitors per day, loads were kept to a minimum. They didn’t look into the future, they did it on the basis of “and so it will do.”

We installed it according to the standard: apache, php, mysql and started it.

As a framework, we decided not to think too long, we took what we were working with at that time, namely Zend Framework 1

Developments

Fortunately, WG provided an API and all the data we needed was there.

We poked around, played around and immediately discovered some nuances, for example, that if you close the game using the Alt+F4 combination, then new information on your account will be available within an hour, and if you exit through the game menu, the statistics will appear immediately.

Something else, but you can’t remember anymore.

Data storage

It was decided to store the most complete set of user account data. The entire information array was divided into some semantic blocks and separated into different tables. Each table has its own archive where previous states are stored.

Usage

On off. game forum, created a post with information about our project and began to wait. In the same section, there were already topics with other popular resources at that time, and our topic was not popular. But time changes everything, little by little, the first visitors began to appear, the first reviews, the first links to us, and, of course, negativity.

Something didn't work for someone. Something took a long time to load, something worked but not right.

And in our free time, we began to make corrections and refine the project.

Half a year

By mid-2014, 3-4 thousand unique people were already visiting the site per day, we received a large number of reviews and wishes.

In parallel with this, we finalized the main page, added new ratings, top 1000 clans/players, an indicator for players involved in fake battles, and added authorization through WG.

And at the same time, we were limited by the capacity of our server.

The site periodically fell off, then the database would freeze due to a bunch of unoptimized queries, then the Apache would get offended and withdraw into itself.

Because of these drops and because we, naturally, did not think about the integrity of the data at that time, problems began: the statistics of some players were displayed crookedly.

We began to look for the cause of all the troubles and took several natural, simple steps to optimize. (yes, that’s right) sections of code related to transactionality.

Cache, of course cache, how we forgot about it. One or two and you're done. The base let go a little, and the Apache a little too.

We also decided, in order to reduce the volume of the database and to reduce the loading time of the page with statistics, to attach a “squeezer” for stat intervals.

Skukozhivaka took outdated game sessions, combined them into one, and recalculated the game ratings for the resulting new session.

We've installed Google AdSense, maybe a pretty penny will drop.

Month.

Or a little longer, we managed to cope with the growing loads, but we wanted more power so that we could expand. It was time to look for a new server and move the project.

Having studied the prices on the Russian market, we realized that we definitely wouldn’t be able to afford it, we went to look over the hill, someone suggested it or we came across Hetzner somewhere, but the reviews weren’t so great, the hard drives were falling out and the like, but after looking at the prices and the characteristics of what was offered iron, they took it from them. And as practice has shown, it’s not in vain.

New server.

We took, as far as I remember, 2 terabytes of hdd in the raid, 16 gigs of RAM and the simplest processor.

I don’t remember how much it cost, but the accruals from AdSense were enough for it.

We asked a good friend who understands setting up servers to supply everything we needed for our project. Installed apache+nginx+mysql on ubuntu.

We deployed backups, transferred dns and everything worked.

There was no limit to the joy, the power was overwhelming, everything was spinning, everything was spinning.

Half a year on the new server.

By the beginning of 2015, the number of daily uniques increased to 10,000, thousands of new accounts, tens of thousands of stat intervals.

The site began to fall off.....

For a long time they could not understand what the reason was. because the hardware was good, but after a long dance with a tambourine, we found out that it was a very bad idea to store the entire file cache in 1 folder (someone got it in the neck later):

  • Normalized data types in tables. Removed redundancy.
  • We redid caching and added nesting. Part of the cache was moved to memcache.
  • We rewrote all the mappers, almost everything is now transactional, and got rid of a ton of unnecessary code.
  • At the same time, we abandoned Apache and installed nginx + php-fpm for the sake of experiment.

The site began to breathe deeply.

New services began to be added: online via servers; information about new stat intervals of players in real time; reviews; and other.

End of 2015.

By the end of the year, a lot of major work had piled up, our enthusiasm had waned, there were no critical errors, the site worked and paid for itself, everything was fine.

The number of unique visitors has increased to 20,000 per day.

Small server upgrade.

Due to the increased number of visitors, there is not enough RAM, it is clear that there are holes, leaks, etc.

We increased the memory to 32 gigs and everything worked well.

Tired

We held a competition for a new logo.

Our hobby alone won't keep you full. Gone to real life.

After New Year 2016.

Our New Year holidays dragged on until about February.

Once we went to the site and downloaded new statistics, we saw that all this had been happening for a very long time and something needed to be changed.

KTTS v2

By February, attendance approached 25k unique visitors. The database already included about three million accounts and about 500 million records in total across all tables. The size of the entire project has increased to almost one terabyte, taking into account the cache and database. Not much, but a critical mass of dissatisfaction with the project has accumulated. Everything needs to be redone from scratch.

No sooner said than done.

  • All service processes that are executed via the crown have been tuned out.
  • Parallelized various service processes. Now the user’s page loads immediately, and all processes related to updating data occur in the background
  • The website template has been more or less updated.
  • We transferred some of the functionality from php to js.
  • Optimized the cache.
  • We added “shrinking” of stat intervals by years, months, days.
  • The functionality responsible for recalculating the top 1000 players/clans has been redesigned.
  • Added an interface for mobile devices
  • New services have been added.

What else could I do?

Statistics, tanks. Tanks, statistics. Tanks, tanks, tanks...

Shouldn't we add some other game to KTTS?

We look, choose, look for an API. And we come across the API from Valve.

Why didn’t we immediately think of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive?

We poke around, try, test. Yes it will work.

A couple of weeks later we rolled out the test version to a closed server, loaded the players, everything works, we can roll it out to the masses.

Roughly speaking, this is how we recently launched a section for collecting CS:GO game statistics.

After about half a year, this section has not gained much popularity among players, perhaps they have not yet learned about it, perhaps because only tankers use our site and CS players do not know about it.

Spring 2016

Users began asking to add a section dedicated to the game World of Tanks Blitz to the site.

Because the basic structure did not differ from the desktop version, they were able to release a collection of statistics on the blitz within a few days.

Summer 2016 (redesign)

During the existence of the site, which is already 3 years, the design of the site has not changed much, and it suits the majority of our users, but to be honest, it is outdated. Well, it was done by us, that is, sometimes as best we could, sometimes as we wanted, and sometimes it will do just fine.

To determine some points, we launched a vote in which about 3,000 users took part. From which we learned a lot of interesting things for ourselves. The main thing is that users do not like significant changes.

We started looking for a designer. It’s clear that finding a smart designer will cost good money. Where can I get them?

Based on our income, we decided that we could allocate 10,000 rubles a month until we paid in full for the design and started looking.

It turned out that even the designers you know with whom you have worked for many years are not ready to take on such a project or for such a payment. But a month later, we found a person suitable for us and are currently working with him on KTTS v3.

The main things I want to see in the new design:

  • keep minimalism but make it more informative
  • comb everything you can (this is at least indents, colors, fonts)
  • on the main column, replace it with squares and add in gray the games that we plan to add in the future
  • do something with the menu, because the way it is now, it’s terrible
  • and of course add modernity

We don’t yet know how the designer will handle our site, but I hope it’s good. I think this will be a topic for the next post.

Description:

Now tankers have become very spoiled for all kinds of ratings. Everyone wants to know how well they played the battle, and for this purpose many different efficiency ratings were invented, as well as mods that calculate them. Until this time, it was possible to find out your effectiveness rating in battle only after it in the statistics for the session. Now, with the help of the battle efficiency calculator mod for WOT 1.6.0.0, you can find out your skill rating directly in battle, in real time.

By installing it you will be able to see your effectiveness in the form of EFF or WN8 ratings in battle. In addition, it will be able to replace your hit log from XVM. The archive contains various versions of the mod:

  • Advanced - will show you your damage dealt, average and last, as well as efficiency ratings according to WN8 and EFF;
  • Simple - shows EFF and WN8 in battle, as well as the damage you caused;

For lovers of minimalism and for those who want to have only a WN6 or WN8 meter, a minimalistic version of the efficiency calculator has been developed, it includes the following options:

  • WN8 only
  • only EFF (RE)
  • two ratings together

Using the mod you can notice a minus damage number (-1428). It shows the average server damage on your tank. This is one of the main parameters for calculating your effectiveness in battle. This can be seen in the old version of the efficiency calculator from the well-known multipack from Pro Tanks. We revived it and remade it a little.

As you can see, we tried to collect all possible options for the efficiency calculator in one place so that everyone could find what they need. The mod is suitable for all tankers who like to monitor their statistics.

And as a bonus, we would like to show you a very cool and unique version of the battle effectiveness rating calculator from NooBool using coolness symbols. It all starts with an empty field, then there are horns, then 3 marks of class, 2, 1 and finally the master. It looks very cool, by default it is located under the left ears, you can move it wherever you want.

In World of Tanks, player statistics are very important for many tankers. This is not surprising; it is the competitive element that is paramount after leveling up most tanks. Our service will allow you to evaluate many indicators, from win rate to time spent in the game.

Why do we need statistics?

In any multiplayer game, everyone wants to be the best, and statistics allow you to see how the results of one tanker differ from another.

  • Using the XVM mod you can check your WoT stats right in the battle. And not only your own, but also your enemies, as well as your allies. As a result, the player more competently assesses the overall balance of power of the team, seeing how skilled the players are.
  • Advanced statistics services in WoT are a must-have tool for every recruiter looking for new players for his clan.
  • There is also clan statistics for communities in World of Tanks, thanks to which the entire clan is assessed.
  • Evaluating your achievements - watching your indicators grow from day to day is quite pleasant.

What does a stat consist of?

Before moving on to describing the various ratings and performance calculators in WoT, you should go through the fundamental data with the help of which these ratings are compiled.

  1. Win percentage- this is the main indicator demonstrating the success of a tanker on the battlefield. Since the probability of winning is 49.9%, the player's contribution to the battle and his ability to play can lead to victory. Thus, skilled tankers can boast statistics of 51% and higher.
  2. Damage per battle- the efficiency rating in WoT also includes this data, which objectively shows the contribution to the battle. But keep in mind that this indicator is completely optional for light tanks, whose task is to detect the enemy. But for tank destroyers and tank destroyers, damage per battle is a critically important indicator.
  3. Survival- controversial data, since until the moment of his death the player can inflict a huge amount of damage and destroy many enemies. But still, survival perfectly shows the tanker’s tendency to go on a suicidal attack. If you are a fan of LT, then survival is a very important indicator, along with enemies detected during the battle.
  4. Accuracy (percentage of hits)- Efficiency includes information about the percentage of hits. It is critical to have good accuracy on art, secondarily on other classes.
  5. Kill/kill ratio- 30 vehicles collide in battle, 15 on each side. One destroyed tank is already a full-fledged contribution to achieving victory; everything that was done above indicates the effectiveness of the tanker, so a ratio equal to, for example, 1.50 is a good indicator.
  6. Average level of battles- shows at what levels the player most often fights.

This is not all the information available in our service; only the most important data is described.

Main types of ratings

Since there is a lot of input data for statistics, they can be interpreted slightly differently. However, despite the large number of different systems for measuring skill, all of them, in principle, one way or another converge in their evaluation gradations. In other words, a good player according to RE will be good in WN8.

There are three main ratings on our website.

Personal rating (according to Wargaming)

  • win percentage;
  • experience and damage per battle (average);
  • survival;
  • total number of battles;
  • light damage and assistance to allies (when a player knocks down an enemy’s track and his allies finish him off).

Players with a large number of battles experience the most difficulty in raising this efficiency rating in World of Tanks. To increase the HR indicator, you need to damage enemies as much as possible, thus gaining experience. Light tanks will not be left out either, because their rating will increase thanks to their light damage.

RE (efficiency rating)

It consists of the following data:

  • Average damage.
  • Points for shooting down and capturing a base.
  • Number of illuminated enemies.
  • Frags (destroyed tanks).

To make the statistics calculator in WoT happy with positive emotions, we recommend increasing your rating in several ways at once.

Increasing the win rate - if things are not going well in random, you can go to companies or team battles, where, if you have a good commander, you can maintain an excellent win rate. But in companies only the percentage of victories increases; to increase the average damage you should play on a high-level vehicle. At the tenth levels you can not only deal more damage, but also gain many times more experience than, for example, at the fifth or sixth levels. As a result, efficiency in WoT will increase, and with it RE.

WN8

Advanced statistics in WoT continues to be improved and the new WN8 efficiency calculator is the next iteration after WN7. Unlike the previous calculator, in WN8 damage is valued more than frags, as it was in WN7.

In addition, WN8 cannot be called a full-fledged formula, it is rather a skill calculation system, since it uses a huge database with information about all tankers and their successes on a particular vehicle. For each tank in WN8, so-called “reference values” or ideal indicators are used, and the closer (or higher) you are to these ideals, the better your rating will be in this system.

To quickly increase the efficiency coefficient in WoT, we recommend playing on those vehicles that work best, because the more effective the battle is, the more damage the tanker will have. And since damage is one of the main indicators of WN8, the numbers will grow. But keep in mind that WN8 calculates damage differently on each tank. For example, when playing on some imba, for example, FV215b (183), it will be more difficult to increase the rating than when playing on the same IS-7, because the standard damage on a tank destroyer is greater than on a tank destroyer.

  • Article on the topic: .

What should you pay attention to in statistics?

The first thing you need to pay attention to is three different ratings that objectively show the success of a tanker. This is RE, WN8, and also a rating from Wargaming.

Winrate- the holy of holies of almost every player. If the winrate is above 50%, this means that the tanker is beneficial to the team.

The third important indicator is damage per battle. Most tankers prefer damage-dealing classes, so you can evaluate the tanker and his average effectiveness.

Average level of battles- if a player has an average level of five or, for example, sixth, then it immediately becomes clear that he doesn’t really like riding at levels ten. Thanks to this information, it is possible to evaluate applicants for joining the clan, which often fights in the Civil Code.

Two ratios - killed/killed and caused/received damage. For experienced tankers, this indicator will be higher than 1, because the player brings benefits in battle. If this indicator is lower, then it becomes clear that most often it is not the player who is dragging the battle, but the team is dragging the player. But if the account has the most battles on LT, the ratios will not objectively show the effectiveness of the tanker.

Features of advanced statistics on our website

Statistics will greet you with a window like this, in which you need to indicate your game nickname:

Select the desired nickname from the list:

The main statistics window will open, in which you can see three ratings, as well as other information, such as win rate, number of battles, damage received, etc. Thanks to this, you can evaluate the success of any player.

An interesting feature of our statistics is that you can see how much time was spent on all battles. The data is approximate; for the calculation, the average duration of the battle was taken (more than two million battles were taken into account).

Have you ever wondered how many times you've seen the timer click before a fight starts? In our statistics you can see how much time you spent clicking the timer. And yes, be careful, the truth is simply amazing, for example, on the demo account the countdown took almost five days. Incredibly high, right?

Another interesting feature is tracking progress over time. The progress of events is shown for four weeks, one week and one day. Thanks to this information, you can see whether a tanker is developing or whether his performance indicators have decreased.
