TFT IPS- High quality liquid crystal matrix. It has wide viewing angles, one of the best indicators of color rendering quality and contrast among all those used in the production of displays for portable equipment.
Super AMOLED- if a regular AMOLED screen uses several layers, between which there is an air gap, then in Super AMOLED there is only one such touch layer without air gaps. This allows you to achieve greater screen brightness with the same power consumption.
Super AMOLED HD- differs from Super AMOLED in its higher resolution, thanks to which you can achieve 1280x720 pixels on a mobile phone screen.
Super AMOLED plus- this is a new generation of Super AMOLED displays, differs from the previous one by using a larger number of subpixels in a conventional RGB matrix. The new displays are 18% thinner and brighter than displays made using the old PenTile technology.
AMOLED- an improved version of OLED technology. The main advantages of the technology are significantly reduced power consumption, the ability to display a larger color gamut, reduced thickness and the ability of the display to bend slightly without the risk of breaking.
Retina-high pixel density display designed specifically for Apple technology. The pixel density of Retina displays is such that individual pixels are indistinguishable to the eye at a normal distance from the screen. This ensures the highest image detail and significantly improves the overall viewing experience.
Super Retina HD- the display is made using OLED technology. The pixel density is 458 PPI, the contrast reaches 1,000,000:1. The display has a wide color gamut and unsurpassed color accuracy. Pixels in the corners of the display are smoothed at the sub-pixel level, so edges are not distorted and appear smooth. The Super Retina HD reinforcing layer is 50% thicker. It will be harder to break the screen.
Super LCD is the next generation of LCD technology, it is characterized by improved characteristics compared to earlier LCD displays. The screens not only have wide viewing angles and better color reproduction, but also lower power consumption.
TFT- A common type of liquid crystal display. Using an active matrix controlled by thin-film transistors, it is possible to significantly increase the performance of the display, as well as the contrast and clarity of the image.
OLED- organic electroluminescent display. It consists of a special thin-film polymer that emits light when exposed to an electric field. This type of display has a large reserve of brightness and consumes very little energy.

The ST27i, which we will talk about today, is presented by the Japanese developer as a youth solution and is located in the budget segment. The device cannot boast of prohibitively high technical characteristics, compared even to its direct and closest competitors. Nevertheless, the device managed to occupy a favorable position in the market, and it gained truly impressive popularity. This suggests that there is something charming about this once new entry in the smartphone market. Well, if so, let's take a closer look at the smartphone. So, meet Sony Xperia Go.

Screen

Today we will do things differently than usual. We will not give technical specifications at the beginning, but will do it at the end of the review in order to draw a line under everything that will be said. But first things first. What do we have in this case? Before us lies the Sony Xperia GO ST27I. The screen diagonal is 3.5 inches, like the good old fourth iPhone. The resolution doesn’t particularly pamper users, only 480 by 320 pixels. I would like to note that with such a budget we have quite good viewing angles. At the same time, we can note a good margin of brightness so that text can be read in sunlight.

In general, users say that for its class the device has not just a good screen, but, one might say, an optimal one. By the way, the display has a special coating applied. It makes it possible to work with it even if there is water on the screen itself. This will be useful for those people who often work with smartphones with wet hands. So to speak, very impatient people. An excellent solution for regular use near the sea. It is interesting that this model stands out from its segment due to its use. For a state employee, this is unusual.

Hardware

Sometimes there are cases when the Sony ST27I does not turn on. This problem is partly related to the hardware of the device. But what is it like here? Let’s make a reservation right away: on board the smartphone there is an operating system of the Android family. Its version is 2.3.7. A number of changes have been made to the shell. Specialists from a Japanese company worked on them. The changes affected the design, as well as the interface as a whole. And now from general words to specific names.

CPU

The chipset is NovaThor U8500. It works with two Cortex A9 generation cores. The clock speed of the processor cores is one gigahertz. The amount of RAM is small - only 512 MB. As we can see, everything here is within the framework of budget rules. Another thing is the pre-installed software. This is really a reason for a separate conversation.

Lockscreen

The lock slider is well designed. When using the Sony Xperia ST27I, you will have to make long movements. By swiping from left to right, we can unlock the device screen. If we swipe from right to left, we will activate the camera. By default, there are four icons at the bottom. What are they represented by? The first icon is a folder with additional programs. They can be used by people leading an active lifestyle. The second is going to the company store. The third is to open the text message menu. The fourth is to open the menu with calls.

Peculiarities

It should be noted that there are branded floating wallpapers here. They are quite beautiful. By default they are blue. However, the user has the right to decide for himself what shade they should be. The range of active programs is represented by a compass, speedometer, FigureRunner utility, a program for using the flash as a flashlight, and another utility from Adidas. It is intended for training. What awaits us besides this software?

Additional programs and widgets

There are quite a few of them in the Sony ST27i. For example, there is a widget that allows you to control wireless interfaces, as well as change the brightness level, activate flight mode, enable or disable navigation and other similar functions. Its external design is quite good; the Japanese did a great job on it, as they say.

The second widget allows you to see what weather awaits us not only today, but also tomorrow, as well as throughout the next week. An hourly breakdown is possible to view the most accurate weather forecast. By default, there is help that is periodically displayed on the screen. It contains tips that allow the phone owner to optimize its operation through the use of battery chips. The help, in general, will be useful for people who have just begun to master the operating system of the Android family.

Do you need a news feed?

Sony ST27I, the characteristics of which we will present in this article, is equipped with a program called TimeEscape. It displays a feed of actions of users whom the phone owner previously added as friends. To be honest, there is no practical use from this utility as such. Nevertheless, certain categories of users may well be interested in it. The Music Unlimited program will allow you not only to listen to music, but also download it to your device. It's useless for watching videos. Which, by the way, may be clear from the name of the application.

Form style

Separately, I would like to talk about the music player, since we have already reached this topic. It is decorated in the best traditions of the Japanese company. Using the interface, files can be quickly transferred, as well as transferred to a playlist, where the user has the right to add the necessary tracks or compositions.

If the buyer understands this, he will be able to please himself with high-quality and surround sound, since the equalizer itself is present in the settings of the multimedia player built into this device. Using a special add-on, you can increase the volume of the speakers. This is a very useful add-on, since the speakers themselves are not loud. This is more of a conversational thing. We can say that the conversational speaker is doing well with the quality of the interlocutor's voice.

A service called Unlimited, which is built into the multimedia player, allows you to find information about the artist of the currently playing song. The information will be found using third-party services such as YouTube or Wikipedia. Sony Xperia Go ST27i, the characteristics of which will be given at the end of today's review, is well suited for listening to music. In this area, among analogues in the budget segment, it is probably the leader. Actually, that’s why the smartphone was presented as a youth solution. You can purchase this model for 7 thousand rubles.

Interaction with social networks

Tired of music? No problem! You can use analog radio. The list is selected quickly and can be edited manually. The radio is also designed in the typical Sony style. To determine the music that is playing, for example, in a cafe, you can use a traditional Japanese developer program called TrackID. It works quickly, with virtually no delays, for which we can say “thank you” to the Japanese.

Not very functional, but truly beautiful is the clock widget. Accessories are controlled using a program called LiveWare. Customization is additionally represented by your own wallpapers and themes, and this is one of the strengths of this model.

Photographic Opportunities

It’s unlikely that much can be said about the device’s camera. However, we can go through the supporting points. First of all, it should be noted that, of course, one cannot expect a miracle from this model. The quality here is average. Even if the pictures are taken in normal lighting, there is much to be desired. Yes, the main module has a resolution of five megapixels. But something is not clear, either there are problems with the processing algorithm, or the optics are of poor quality, but still the pictures are not particularly consistent even with this resolution.

Every cloud has a silver lining

What saves the day? Probably a whole range of built-in effects from the company. The simplest ones are 3D panoramas. The coolest ones are face detection. Automatic focusing on the subject is present and works at average speed. Digital zoom can be used, but to avoid disappointment, you shouldn't. This is done using the volume buttons. When shooting video, the image is stabilized. Shooting clips produces striking results. Unlike photos, videos are of quite high quality and can be shot in HD quality. It is unclear why the Japanese this time focused specifically on filming video. It would be better if they improved the creation of photographs too.

Autonomous operation

The developer himself stated that in second-generation networks the smartphone will be able to work for six and a half hours, in 3G mode - an hour less. Music can be played for 45 hours. However, in order to soberly evaluate such indicators and analyze the situation, let us remember that we have an operating system of the Android family on board and take a look at the lithium-ion battery. It has a capacity of 1305 milliamps per hour. The battery, by the way, is built into the smartphone itself; you cannot replace it manually. With such a small capacity, you immediately begin to think that Android will land the device by noon. However, it turns out that even when used with above-average activity, the Sony can survive until the evening. The result was extremely surprising, and in a pleasant way. The device charges from zero to one hundred percent in about two hours.

Sony Xperia Go ST27I: specifications and reviews

So, it’s time to talk briefly about what characteristics this model has. The Sony ST27I phone has a 3.5-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 320 by 480 pixels. The camera has a resolution of five megapixels. There is IP67 protection against moisture and dust. Processor with two cores operating at a clock frequency of 1 GHz. The amount of RAM is 512 MB. Operating system version - “Android 2.3”. You can update to 4.0.

What do buyers say about this device? From the point of view of use for “get-togethers” on social networks, this is a good device. It will also be interesting for those who regularly use the device to listen to music. However, users in reviews complain about low performance (what can you expect with such a processor and amount of memory?) and a weak camera. If you are going to take high-quality pictures in order to share them on social networks or other places, then you will have to look for a better analogue.

2.3.7, NovaThor U8500 Dual-core Cortex A9 processor and 512 MB of RAM. One of the features of the handset, according to information from the manufacturer, is IP67 protection. However, this is not the only interesting thing about the device.

Frame

The internal material of the body of the device in question is plastic, but externally there is a specific coating or coating (call it whatever is more convenient), which tactilely resembles ceramics. The material looks interesting, and it feels great in your hand, but let’s just say that if you transport the handset in your pocket with keys and other, so to speak, sharp objects, you won’t be able to avoid scratches in the end. So, a careful attitude towards the tube is still necessary. However, in case anyone has forgotten what IP67 class means, let me remind you in a nutshell – we are talking about protection from dust and dirt.

As for the adjustment of materials to each other - it was done at a good level - it will not be possible to improve the elements in the play between each other. The only exception is a slight creaking of the battery cover.

Even at the first cursory inspection, I found it interesting how the Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) is arranged under the battery cover. Here everything is “flooded”, “soldered”, “muffled” - in a word, it is done so that moisture does not get inside - otherwise “bast shoes to the top” are guaranteed! I’ll immediately note that when I got acquainted with the tube, I did not drown it to a depth of up to a meter for half an hour, as the manufacturer “recommends” - nevertheless, I had on hand, although a well-modified, but nevertheless, an engineering version of the device. However, due to heavy rainfall in the shower, ultimately nothing happened to the device.

The implementation of mechanical functional elements on the body of the case does not raise any complaints. Yes, there are not many elements, but all ports are closed with plugs, and the buttons are made with the surgical precision typical of the Japanese.

The cover of the battery pack is attached to the case and can be removed from it without any difficulties - the time required to perform one operation is no more than two to three seconds.

Design

In Ukrainian retail, Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) is available in three body colors: classic black, as well as white and yellow.

Frankly speaking, I have only seen a “live” handset with a black body. Well, since they say that it is better to get acquainted with the design of smartphones, as well as any other devices, in person, I am only conveying my impressions about the black Sony Xperia Go (ST27i).

The entire back panel is covered by a battery cover. In its body there is a camera eye and a flash, as well as a slot for a speakerphone and a characteristic emblem from the “times of the Ochakovskys,” that is, from the times of the Sony Ericsson concern.

On the right side, under a fairly thick plastic plug, there is a micro-port “hidden”. A little lower is the volume control key, and at the junction of this panel with the bottom end there is a loop for attaching a safety cord.

On the left side panel there is another plastic plug, half the size of the one mentioned. This covers the 3.5 mm jack.

Looking at the top end, the user will find the power on/off button for the smartphone.

But there are no elements on the bottom end - the characteristic microphone slot is located on the front panel, on the threshold mentioned at the beginning of this section.

Brief technical specifications

Display

Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) received a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. Perhaps this may not seem enough to some, but for a device that is positioned as a budget device, the state of affairs is quite justified.

There is a small grain visible in the system. However, the user does not feel any significant discomfort from its presence – the data is displayed quite well.

The display uses Mobile BRAVIA Engine technology, which is known to improve the quality of photos and videos in practice.

When working in sunlight, you often have to “crank up” the backlight level to the maximum, however, personally, in my opinion, all this is a small expense for comfortable work with the Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) in a sunny environment - you don’t have to run around looking for a darker place , nor cover the panel with your hand.

The hardware display is covered with protective mineral glass, sensitive to pressure even with wet fingers.

As for the settings from the corresponding submenu, the user has the opportunity to adjust manually, or select automatic mode, activate or turn off the Mobile BRAVIA Engine mode, work with animation, configure screen lock settings and much more.

Memory

Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) received 8 GB of internal memory, with which about 6 GB is available to the user. The rest is “selected” by the system.

The memory is divided so that the user can use approximately half to store various user content, and about 2 GB is the so-called system memory for applications.

Has Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) and a slot for memory expansion cards. Traditional standard - . You can also insert microSDHC cards. Declared support for memory cards up to 32 GB inclusive. The slot is located under the battery cover and is covered with a plastic flap.

Battery

The smartphone in question received a battery with a capacity of 1350 mAh. It’s probably worth reminding right away that the battery is built-in. The solution for secure smartphones is by no means new, but technically, of course, justified.

Charging the battery 100% through a native AC adapter takes about two hours. After which the smartphone can work for about 6.5 hours in GSM networks, or about 45 hours in audio playback mode or 5 in video playback mode.

Equipment

Out of the box, the user will receive a smartphone running Android 2.3.7 OS. There are no specifics about updating the OS - they promise in the fall, but they may postpone it.

The smartphone is based on the NovaThor U8500 Dual-core Cortex A9 processor, clocked at 1 GHz. The amount of RAM is 512 MB.

The operation of the system did not cause me any complaints: no freezes, no random reboots, or any other problems regarding the operation of the system were noted.

Performance

The system's performance capabilities were tested using several testers. Below are the results.

Shell

The shell, of course, is customized - the emphasis is mainly on widgets: drawing, format, capabilities, etc.

What immediately attracted attention was that if, say, you place two fingers diagonally on the display and then bring them together, in the case of the Sony Xperia Go (ST27i), with such a movement the user calls up a certain technical submenu, the so-called “widget overview” which have already been brought to the desktops.

Having completed the mentioned “manipulation”, the user will see all the widgets on one panel, in the format of some floating icons. But nothing can be done with them this way - just an inspection, nothing more.

The smartphone unlock format compensates for the lack of a “hot” launch button for the “Built-in Camera” application!

At the very bottom of the start page there are four icons for quick access to applications and services, which the user, however, can replace with others. This is easy to do - press and hold the icon, then transfer it to the trash, and with a similar manipulation we display the one you need in place of the deleted icon.

The icon called Fitness caught my attention. It contains several applications for sports: WalkMate is a pedometer, FigureRunner is a very interesting program that allows you to draw a sign on a map that the user will then have to run, as well as two other programs - miCoach and Adidas.

I also liked the proprietary widget for controlling wireless interfaces, brightness, etc. - it’s ergonomic, very simple and easy to use. There is also help that tells you how to optimize battery performance, etc.

But the notification panel is just a notification panel and there is nothing more here.

Browser and email

In my humble opinion, the browser in the Sony Xperia Go (ST27i) is the most “standard” Android one. The user will not see anything unusual here. The main window of the so-called context menu has six icons: “new window”, “bookmarks”, “windows”, as well as “stop”, “forward” and “more”. By clicking on the last window, the user gets access to a search on the page, the ability to select text, get information about the page, send the page and much more.

Sony released a new generation of smartphones under its own brand without its former partner Ericsson, continuing the previous good traditions. Sony Xperia ST27i Go became the successor to the “fireproof” and “unsinkable” SonyEricsson Active and marked a new generation of “rugged” communicators in the $300 price category.

The manufacturer equipped the smartphone with a 3.5-inch display with HVGA 480x320 resolution, a 5 MP camera and IP67 protection level, like its “active” predecessor. The communicator platform is based on an integrated dual-core Cortex A9 processor with a 1 GHz NovaThor Mali400 GPU running Android 2.3 OS with a promised update to version 4 this fall. The device has 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, a 1305 mAh battery.

  • Equipment

The manufacturer included with its standard MH410c headset a standard telephone device, a microUSB cable, a user manual, a warranty card promising that the manufacturer will take care of the device for a year, and a microSIM adapter.

  • A look at waterproofing

The communicator complies with the IP67 standard developed in the USA and has a corresponding certificate, the receipt of which involved testing the device at a depth of one meter. The manufacturer, therefore, has released a shark among smartphones, which not only is not afraid of moisture, but feels great under water, working quickly and actively, while maintaining its mobility. To experiment, just put your smartphone in a bowl of water and make sure that it continues to receive calls and SMS, and also allows you to use the camera while shooting underwater. However, water pressure on the touchscreen buttons may slightly slow down their response to the touch of the owner's fingers, which, in general, does not cause obvious interference with operation.

  • Design and shape

The Xperia Go takes on a completely different look than the SonyEricsson Active, but retains the elegant rounded parallelogram shape common to the Xperia style and its textured plastic body. There is a protrusion at the bottom of the phone, which is accompanied by a small indentation on the back cover. The manufacturer has returned to producing the battery cover from the same material as the back cover of the case. The texture of the back surface of the phone has a pronounced roughness, which prevents the phone from slipping out of your hands, but to clean it you need to use a material that is usually used to clean glasses; a regular cloth can leave dirt in the form of fibers and grains on the body. All openings in the phone are tightly closed with plugs that do not allow moisture and dust to penetrate inside. The lower right corner of the smartphone contains a niche for a strap and a lever for removing the cover. However, the back cover is made incredibly thin, which even causes some fear when opening among users.

Inside, under the cover, the phone has a bright blue color. Under the cover there is a battery compartment and slots for a memory card and SIM card. The entrance to this sector is additionally protected; the actual purpose of the cover is to provide access to memory cards and SIM cards, because the battery has its own protection and is built into the phone, that is, it can only be replaced at a service center. A MicroSIM adapter is included in the package, so the phone can use different types of SIM.

  • Display

The display of the “all-terrain” Sony has increased significantly compared to its “active” predecessor, by as much as 0.5 inches, and reached 3.5 inches. However, the resolution remained the same - 320x480 pixels, i.e. 165 dpi, same as iPhone 3G. The digital values of this indicator are somewhat significantly lower than those of classmates and even smartphones located one step below the Xperia ST27i Go. Comparing with LG Optimus Black, Samsung Galaxy Ace, HTC want VC, Sony Xperia U, Ray, Neo L, which have a resolution of 854x480 or 800x480, so you might think that the brightness of the screen colors and color reproduction will not be of high enough quality. However, the listed models use FWVGA or WVGA technologies, while in “Go” the resolution is presented in HVGA, without any subpixels. The TFT Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine technology is not only responsive and sensitive, but also smart in the multimedia system. It is also worth noting that the mineral glass display screen responds even to the touch of wet fingers. It is also possible that the manufacturers were guided by the fact that low resolution gives two undoubted advantages for this “especially robust” model - higher performance, i.e. mobility, and battery saving.

  • Interface

Despite the similarity of technical characteristics with its “active” brother, the Go interface differs fundamentally from the interface of its predecessor; in its image and likeness it is closer to the manufacturer’s other line of smartphones - Xperia S. In addition, the 1 GHz processor, Mali400 GPU and low screen resolution contribute to its high performance, “agility” - smoothness and high speed of transitions. The menu traditionally consists of five pages on which you can add widgets, shortcuts and folders. By holding the screen you can see a summary of the desktop. The icons, as on other small screens, are arranged in three rows of four columns each. The color themes are quite simple. It is possible to instantly make various changes to the design and menu.

Xperia Go is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with the ability to record in 720p quality. It is equipped with various options that allow you to get a high-quality image, including 3D Sweep Panorama, Sweep Panorama, flash, resolution, smiles, ISO, white balance, metering, geo tagging, shutter sound, etc. Its interface is quite easy to use, however One downside is the lack of a physical camera button. There is also no front camera.

Video recording is carried out in 720p HD resolution, options include scene mode, flash mode, focus mode, white balance, image stabilization, etc. Image capture is carried out by a button on the screen. Video recording is performed at a frequency of 30 frames per second, video file production is 90 MV per minute, which is quite good indicators for obtaining intelligent “fast” video recording.

The smartphone has the usual gallery for its category and strong integration with Facebook, thanks to which photos from the album are reflected in the account. There are options for minimal photo processing and composition. Bluetooth, Facebook, Gmail, Messaging, Picasa, DLNA and WhatsApp are provided for file transfer; you can also use other applications that Android 2.3 allows you to install. The video player displays videos in quite decent quality, which is enhanced by the use of Bravia Engine technology, although perhaps the Xperia U, within its FWVGA resolution, provides a more pleasant viewing experience. Viewing control options include pause, fast forward and rewind. Video viewing is possible in Mp4 720p formats. 720p, MOV, AVI (DivX / XviD).

Media player options allow you to easily create playlists and set different repeat modes for listening to songs, access Youtube and Wikipedia, and also, by setting various parameters of the electro-acoustic Surround converter, listen to music of various styles (pop, jazz, rock, symphonic, etc.) in high quality sound reproduction .). xLOUD options allow you to change the background level of the speakerphone.

The keyboard is no different from other Xperia. Xperia Go has a keyboard with standard parameters, such as writing language, sentence format, correction speed, etc. With a diagonal of 3.5 inches and a width equal to that of the iPhone, typing with one or two hands is quite comfortable.

Contacts with various devices are possible, synchronization with the account of popular services Google, Facebook, Twitter and other online accounts. Copying contacts and files is possible via a SIM or microSD card, as well as by synchronizing with a PC. Users of the Xperia ST27i Go smartphone have access to SMS, MMS, sending email messages via Gmail and other accounts, except Google + Instant traveler and Google speak traveler. Owners of Sony Xperia communicators also have a distinctive feature - the Timescape function, which sets them apart from other smartphones. It allows you to combine Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare into one area with sufficient scrolling display.

The web browser is fast, smart and responsive, allowing you to configure eight settings or use default settings such as browser history, cookies, javascript, etc.
web browser. Demonstrates excellent performance when streaming videos from YouTube. The quality of games in 720p resolution is not high, but there are no obvious advantages compared to HVGA resolution. Allows you to quickly open websites and scroll through pages, view them in full screen or not.

Go Xperia 850/1800/1900/2100 850/1800/1900/2100 works in Quadband and HSDPA 900/2100 networks, various a-GPS coverage areas. Data transfer can be carried out using
Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) with DLNA wireless connectivity from the hotspot, and a USB cable for transferring files to a PC or laptop.

  • Battery

The endurance of the battery is determined by its capacity of 1305 mAh, which indicates its considerable endurance. In order to ensure the declared level of protection, the manufacturer securely hid the battery from various unwanted influences, closing it with a sealed lid. However, along with this plus, there is one significant minus - the battery can only be replaced at a service center. That is, if the user has to travel to places far from the electrical network, he will not be able to take a charged battery with him, but will have to be content with the charge that the Xperia ST27i Go with a 1305 mAh battery can contain. Sony promises 5-10 hours of battery life on a single charge, even when watching “heavy” content for a long time.

  • Results

Among smartphones, there are few interesting models that are particularly durable and resistant to external influences. In this class, the Sony Xperia ST27i Go can be called one of the best representatives, which, along with water resistance and dust and moisture resistance, has many characteristics that meet modern requirements for mobile communicators. In the category of mid-class smartphones, there are examples of devices with a higher display resolution and a number of other higher specifications, but the Xperia Go, as promised by the manufacturer, is very agile and smart, and the screen provides fairly high image quality and color reproduction. True, Android version 2.3 is somewhat frustrating, but, as mentioned, the update to version 4 will be available to users in the fall. Those who like to capture events using a smartphone camera should remember that there is no physical camera button, which is compensated by the ability to take underwater photography. Phone owners should not confuse dust resistance and resistance to mechanical damage with shock resistance. In real conditions, a mobile smartphone may not withstand crash tests. Still, the Sony Xperia ST27i Go is an excellent, fashionable and modern secure smartphone with high performance for active people.
