Installing mod assembly from Wot Fan

  • Download archive
  • run setup installer
  • choose which ones you want, install mods and specify the path to the game folder.

Surely many tankers have heard about the famous YouTube channel WOT FAN 1.4.1, dedicated to everything related to our favorite game, where new tank videos are constantly released in different sections and so on. So, the same guys who maintain their channel also release a very good collection of mods for World of Tanks, which is no worse than many others, and in some ways even better.

Features of the modpack from WOT FAN 1.4.1

As many probably already know, this modpack is not much different from many others, since most assemblies contain approximately the same mods, which everyone is already familiar with. However, the modders who created this collection of scripts were still able to add something of their own, namely, that after launching the program to install the modpack, everything is very nice and clearly divided into sections, of which there are six:

  • The main combat interface - here are mods that most affect the conduct of combat, these include sights, damage panels, horizontal aiming angle markers for AT and artillery, a reduced tank armor sensor in the sight, etc.
  • Expanded combat interface - this includes all those mods that are slightly less important in battle, but still it would be worse without them. This includes a counter for the total HP of teams, various information panels, disabling shooting at allies, and much more.
  • Combat chat and camera - the third step is designed for mods that display messages in the chat about your exposure, allow you to move the camera away from the tank to see the full picture of the battle, increase the zoom in sniper mode, and so on.
  • Hangar and sounds - well, everything is very clear here, thanks to this collection of mods you can upgrade your hangar, change its appearance, add a replay manager, a radio from WarGaming, display more detailed statistics for the day, and so on.
  • XVM - the penultimate step is responsible for the complete setup of everyone's favorite deer meter. There will be hangar mods, light bulb changes, statistics, an expanded mini-map and everything else that a real tanker should have.
  • The sixth step is optimization, that is, the ability to remove unnecessary graphical effects of the game that affect the FPS drop, such as fog and smoke effects on the map, tracks from tracks, smoke when fired and from the exhaust pipe, etc. This is especially true for weak computers.

Regarding the installer, there is nothing unusual here. Just download the assembly from our website and run the installer. After this, you can clear the res_mods folder of outdated modifications, as well as empty the game cache. Next, as always, check off the mods that you would like to see in the game, as shown in the screenshot.

After selecting all the necessary mods, the last, sixth step follows, where you disable all unnecessary effects and click the “Install” button. At this point, the installation will be completed and you can go into battle, mods and changes will be active.
