The most annoying thing is that it happens that you process photos, a person is waiting for them, and as soon as you want to send them, you don’t have the Internet. And the person calls you angrily and asks “WHERE?!” And in this case, the words that your Internet was turned off about five minutes ago seem like a complete mockery...

In general, I didn’t think that I would complain about Volya so soon - I connected to it only in mid-October and during this time there have already been FIVE cases, including today, which is too often for me. Now it’s time to whine that I didn’t have this under Ukrtelecom. But I switched from Ukrtelecom to Volya only because Ukrtelecom increased the subscription fee, and Volya increased its permanent promotions made it possible to get 3 times faster speeds at half the price.

Now it seems to me that free cheese can only be in a mousetrap.


Regarding cases. Most often, everything happens the way it happened for us this Friday, that is, the day before yesterday: you are sitting, watching your favorite show, and then at exactly 20-00 (or at another time, one of the cases was at 12-00) the cable goes out, the Internet too disappears. And that’s it, here it is on Friday evening, I watched the show that I’ve been waiting for a whole week, yeah. After 15 minutes cable appears, BUT not all channels. Channels 15. Due to the law of meanness, the channel on which I watched the show never appeared. Internet that evening didn't show up at all- only in the morning.

Regarding the case when the Internet disappeared at 12 noon - I had a day off then and went to our local office - It turned out that our cable and Internet were supplied from a base in a neighboring house, and the lights went out in that house. After 5 minutes there was already light there - so within five minutes everything should have been working for me. But it didn't work. 2 hours have passed and still nothing works. Just a miracle. An hour later everything appeared. At the same time, the Internet was working, I tried to submit the request, but the menu simply did not have such an option. The lady from the local office advised me to leave applications not through my personal account, but through a general website... And it’s good that she said - but before that? What if I hadn’t asked why it wasn’t working out? This is terrible, not thought out...

"Volya" breaks records for lack of Internet

Even before this, there were cases when there was no Internet in the morning, like today - and the reason is the same - "Cable damage". That is, “THE CABLE HAS BEEN CUT AND TAKEN AWAY AND OUR WORKERS ARE NOW RESTORING IT. Everything will be restored in about 8 hours as much as possible." And before that, go for a walk, read, do everything around the house, and it doesn’t matter that you want to relax or you urgently need to send something to someone - go do something else.

Regarding technical support - previously there was only a landline number, which was useless to call because you listened to music for a very long time, and then the connection was cut off. Now they gave me a mobile number, BUT it is MTS. It’s clear that calling from other operators is not profitable - but at least they pick up the phone. But the downside of communicating with an operator is that you can hear other operators in the background, and your operator says that It’s hard to hear you and I need you to repeat what you said. And I just want to say that I would be clearly audible if the operators there in the background fell silent. It's not my fault.

Eyewitnesses who have been using the services of this provider for several years say that This didn't happen before. And that if the Internet disappeared, it was for a maximum of a few hours at NIGHT from Sunday to Monday. And these were planned technical works. That's all. What happened now is not clear.

To be honest, I already regret that I switched from Ukrtelecom. It would be better to sit at a not so high speed, and pay several times more, but at least there was a connection.

Dear "Will"! Provide your services with high quality, protect cables. Am I really asking that much?

Subscribers of one of the largest providers, Volya, do not have Internet access. The company's call center also does not work - after an automatic response about technical problems, the subscriber is disconnected.

“For technical reasons we cannot answer you. The problems will be resolved shortly,” the company’s answering machine replies.

Of the company’s services, only Volya TV is currently operating, providing TV services. The company's clients report this on social networks. There is also no information on the company's social accounts. Users are reporting that the mobile app is also not working.

According to some data, the Internet access of the Volya company does not work throughout Ukraine. At the same time, some users report that they have no problems with access, the failure is observed only in Kyiv.

The Volya company reported that an accident occurred, and at the moment specialists are identifying the causes and working to eliminate them.

“Today, December 12 at 17.40 in Kyiv, interruptions in access to the Internet service began. We are making every effort to restore services. In the near future, technical specialists will know the cause of the accident. Unfortunately, the company’s call center and corporate resources are also not available for communication at the moment. We will inform you via social networks. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience."

Updated: Later, the company confirmed the fact of an external attack on the network, which led to interruptions in access to the Internet service in Kyiv, and also removed the company’s call center and corporate resource from access.

  2. Plug a standard network cable into the Ethernet connector.

The procedure for connecting to the network via an Ethernet cable is the same as for most other Internet providers. The company lays twisted pair cables into the subscriber's premises (house, apartment or office). The end of the cable is crimped and an 8P8C connector is installed on it, which is suitable for connecting to any device with a network connector. The most commonly used devices are:

The main disadvantages of this scheme are the lack of a local network and the simultaneous ability to access the Internet from several computers. Setting the MAC Address

Volya's network is organized in relation to the MAC address of subscribers' end equipment. Therefore, when replacing it, you will need to enter a new address into the provider’s settings or change it yourself on the network device. If you use an Ethernet cable for the connection, you can change the MAC without leaving your home. Just log in to your personal account, open “My settings -> Equipment” and enter a new value.

You can also change the MAC on the router or computer itself to match the one that was originally used. For example, in devices from the manufacturer TP-Link, this action is performed using the “MAC Address Clone” link in the “Network” menu. Enter the address in the “WAN MAC Address” field and click the “Save” button.
