Improved standard sight for WoT. Improved standard sight for WoT Standard sight for world of tank

This mod for a tank simulator was presented by the popular modder AtotIK. The modification can significantly improve the basic sight in WoT by adding useful information that will be useful in battles. As a result, playing will become much more comfortable.

The presented mod, in particular, will introduce such functions as: projectile flight timer for art, tank strength, percentage of strength, etc. In addition, the modification can increase the zoom ratio, which will allow you to target the weak points of enemy vehicles even from a great distance. Like many others, this one has already proven itself.

Improved standard sight download

It is worth noting that the mod is available in many modpacks and is in fairly high demand among gamers. It contains only the necessary information for a convenient game and does not particularly load the interface. The modification will please many players.

In order to install the improved standard sight, you will need to unpack the downloaded archive to this path: /World_of_Tanks/res_mods/[update folder]/. After this, you can go into the simulator and try out the improved sight directly in battles.

Aim is the main element of the World of Tanks combat interface. Without a scope it is extremely difficult to make an accurate shot, and with an inconvenient scope it is extremely difficult to show a good game. The standard World of Tanks sight is a kind of averaging of the players' needs for functionality and comfort. It is quite possible to play well with it and show good results, but for maximum effectiveness in battle, you should choose a sight that will be convenient for you personally.

Sight mods- The oldest category of mods, existing since the earliest versions of the game. Players have long realized the need and ability to customize the sight “to suit themselves.” The interface capabilities allow you to make a variety of changes and create sights with any functionality - from minimalistic to extremely informative, as well as cheat sights, which we have highlighted in a special section.

Main types of sights in WoT

Minimalistic sights differ in that they remove everything possible from the player’s screen, often leaving only an aiming marker and an aiming circle. Such mods are convenient for those who know their combat vehicle and enemy tanks well. If you are an experienced player, then without prompting you know in what situation where to shoot and how successful your shot will be. It will be more convenient for you when there is nothing superfluous on the screen and nothing prevents you from aiming correctly and inflicting damage on the enemy.

Informative sights will be more useful for beginners and intermediate players. These show all the information that may be needed for an effective shot. The type of projectile and flight time to the target, distance, slope and thickness of the enemy’s armor - all these and many other parameters matter. And they can all be displayed in the sight if you install the appropriate mod.

There are also decorative sights, which combine useful functionality with additional elements that add a certain style. This could be, for example, Star Wars or a World of Warplanes style sight.

The aiming system in World of Tanks automatically changes the gun's elevation angle depending on the distance to the point at which your sight is aimed. This is done because the projectiles in the game do not fly in a straight line, but in an arc, simulating a real trajectory. In some situations, the aiming system may not work properly, causing you to miss.

The aiming point is the visible object that your crosshair is aimed at. If you are aiming at an enemy tank, the system works normally, calculating the gun's elevation angle so that the projectile trajectory ends at the sighting point. When shooting with a lead, you aim in front of or behind the enemy combat vehicle. The aiming point of the sight, in this case, may be several meters or even hundreds of meters further away. This is especially noticeable when shooting against the background of the sky or mountains beyond the edge of the map - the sight turns out to be aimed incorrectly and the projectile flies away into nowhere.

The improved aiming system solves this problem by locking the target's aiming distance to an enemy at 3.5 seconds (by default). It is enough to point the sight at the enemy tank for the rangefinder to lock and you can make an accurate shot. The improved aiming system also allows you to determine the distance if the enemy is behind an obstacle. In the screenshot below, T25/2 emerges from behind a mountain against the sky:
